Who We Are
The Davis Family Foundation, Inc. (DFF, Inc.) was established to continue in an organized way, to sustain family relationships and values by building on a network of family and friends that supports and maintains the concept of Morals and Character, Education and Diversity.
The Foundation's purpose is to systematically continue this legacy of Family, Unity, Love, Support and Service through the generations.
To complete this mission, in addition to donations and membership dues, DFF, Inc. organizes two major fundraisers; the Davis Family Reunion and the Davis Family and Friends Cruise. In support of education, DFF, Inc. offers multiple scholarships for eligible students.
DFF, Inc. was formed on April 12, 2001, in celebratory memory of Barbara and Aloysius Davis Sr. Their children, Earl, Barbara, Donna, Carolyn and Deborah began discussing a family foundation in July of 1999 at the first Davis Family Reunion in Erie, Pennsylvania. At this reunion, officers were elected to govern the potential family organization. The elected officers chose April 12, 2001 as the day of incorporation in memory of Barbara and Aloysius Sr.'s wedding anniversary.
The Foundation has been serving the family, friends and community for over ten years. DFF, Inc. has hosted many successful fundraising events and awarded scholarships to many students who are furthering their education. DFF, Inc. currently has over 50 active members who continue to support the foundation and its mission.
